As a part of the hospital’s goal to transition to Family-Centered Care, The Christ Hospital’s 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit was relocated to the 7th floor of the main building and designed with family in mind. The design team, along with physicians, nurses and administrators, collaborated to create this state-of-the-art medical ICU equipped with the latest advancements in technology, safety and efficiency. The aesthetically pleasing environment was designed to help promote the healing process by embracing nature through the use of color, materials and textures.
