Taylor High School’s Taylor Tiny Homes Program
3.03.25
Hands-on learning is key to shaping the next generation of architects, builders, and designers! That’s why we teamed up with Taylor High School’s Taylor Tiny Homes program, where students gain practical knowledge in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and more—fundamental skills for homeownership and maintenance.
Led by Bryan Kestner, the program goes beyond the classroom, with second-year students building a tiny home each year, raffling it off to fund future projects. This year, University of Cincinnati Architecture Co-Ops Alina Dallakoti and Atira Forrest, along with Interiors Co-Op Julie Krueger, joined the students for a design charette, guiding them in developing a mountain retreat-inspired playhouse.
Now, their vision is coming to life! The 8’x10’x9’ playhouse is set to be completed by May, and we’re excited to follow the progress.
