Ipsos, a global market research and public opinion specialist, approached our workplace design team to assist them with relocating their Chicago office and creating a dynamic workplace environment in which to attract their Chicago-based team into the physical office. The storyline for their Chicago office design was the Chicago River, broken down into neighborhoods and destinations. Much like the Chicago River is the catalyst for development for the city, Ipsos serves as a catalyst for development so that their clients can act faster, smarter, and bolder over time. The river draws parallels to Ipsos in the way it inspires and plays an inspirational role in the growth of the city. Through crucial times, both have proven influential cultural hubs/organizations that bring stability and intrigue to their respective communities. Some strategically designed destinations within their workplace were bridges, the confluence area, the dock, the port, the disruptor, and the cabana. One specific destination, the disruptor, was organized to allow for clients and participants to engage in market research labs and forums within this workplace footprint. From custom neon lights to custom murals to heavily branded workplace moments, each space is uniquely Ipsos Chicago.

Unique featured elements of the space include a custom reception desk and large-scale wall graphics, as well as phone rooms and a quiet zone.

The client experience included visioning sessions with end-user team leaders, interactive design meetings with Ipsos facilities team members, virtual site-visits, remote project and construction administration team meetings, and 3D visuals, diagrams, and graphics.
